Materials used: jute string, human hair, paint, glue

Size: roughly 14' x 2' x 9'

This installation piece was one of the many artworks

presented at our senior art show (a collaborative show

put together by the graduating class) in 2007.

It represents the journey of TCKs (Third Culture Kids)

around the world, who all experience an identity crisis

quite different from non-TCKs.

This piece captures the constant movements of TCKs,

fluttering from one place to another.

No single place can truly be called 'home'; they can

belong completely to none, yet all, the cultures they

have experienced.
